Compound Semiconductor China (CSC) is the “sister” title to Compound Semiconductor – the world's most respected and authoritative publication. It was launched in 2005 and was suspended in 2009 as a result of changes in management of Compound Semiconductor magazine as well as infavorable economic condition. Currently under strong market demand it is scheduled to be re-launched in Oct 2011.

China is already a significant player in the compound semiconductor industry, and it is destined to take an even bigger role over the next few years. Thanks to tremendous government support, China is undergoing a massive increase in imports of MOCVD tools that will be used to drive up volumes of LED production and spur a revolution in solid-state lighting. The quality and quantity of University research in the III-V field is also going from strength to strength, and this will spawn companies covering other sectors within the compound semiconductor industry, such as RF electronics, optoelectronics, and power electronics.

CSC tends to extend focus and global horizons of professional audience in the China region with in-depth analysis and timely information and opinion on the global compound semiconductor industry. It is published quarterly in Simplified Chinese.
